SOLD OUT
Two tours in one:
Verticulture Farms operates out of 630 Flushing Ave, the old Pfizer Building turned into a small business incubator space. Stroll past small-batch kimchi and wafts of fresh baked goods to get to the rooftop, where Verticulture Farms has turned 120 square feet of space into 380 square feet of aquaponic food production.
Tinyfield Roofhop Farm is a small-scale, women run rooftop farm growing organic microgreens, salad greens, flowers and hops on top of a former pharmaceutical building in Brooklyn. We provide high quality, hyper-local produce to consumers and restaurants, and by creating a space to grow hops, we connect not only brewers to local ingredients, but the worlds of local agriculture and microbrewing by bringing communities together.
The group will be split into 2 and tour Verticulture and Tinyfield Rooftop Farm back to back.
We will meet in the lobby, the entrance is through the parking lot on Hopkins and Tompkins.
