Jon is an entrepreneur and investor focused on growing early-stage and middle-market companies primarily across the energy and natural resources sectors. Currently, he leads Business Development and Finance initiatives at Local Roots Farms, an agricultural technology company that designs, manufactures, and operates turn-key indoor farming solutions. Concurrently, Jon is an investor and advisor to a number of start-ups focused on aerospace & defense, food, energy technology, and health & wellness.

Previously, he was a Founding Member of B2 Partners, a private investment firm that focused on private equity investments in the Oilfield Services and Upstream Oil & Gas verticals.

Prior to B2, Jon served as an Oil & Gas Investment Banker at HSBC where he and his team primarily advised on assets & divestitures across the globe. In addition, he held private equity internships at Pegasus Capital Advisors and Goldman, Sachs, & Co, respectively.

Jon began his focus on entrepreneurship and investing while studying at Barrett, The Honors College at ASU, where he double majored in Finance and Marketing and at The London School of Economics.

He is the Founder, Executive Director & Chairman of the Board of Millennials for Mental Health Awareness, a non-profit that provides resources and support in partnership with other organizations. Jon also serves as an Ambassador to Phoenix Children's Hospital and TGen.

Jon has also lectured at Harvard College, where he discussed the topics of lower middle-market private equity and early-stage investing.
